My Privacy Policy

The blogging experts say I need a privacy policy on my website.

I will never share your email address or any other personal information with anyone, ever. Period.

The experts also say, that sentence isn't good enough.

Here's the Technical and Legal Stuff

My Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information that is received and collected and how it is used.

Like most other websites Proof Paleo Works collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available to website owners when someone visits their site.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a tool I (and a billion others) use to help understand how visitors engage with this website. It reports website trends using cookies and web beacons without identifying individual visitors. You can read more at the Google Analytics Privacy Overview.

I use log files to help learn about when, from where, and how often traffic flows to this site. The information in the log files include:

  • Internet Protocol addresses (IP)
  • Types of browser
  • Internet Service Provider (ISP)
  • Date and time stamp
  • Geographic location
  • Referring and exit pages
  • Number of clicks

Cookies

All websites (including this one) place a cookie on your computer the second you visit the site. You're browser's default setting are set to accept cookies.

Children

ProofPaleoWorks.com does not knowingly collect or solicit Personally Identifiable Information from or about children under 13 except as permitted by law. If I discover I have received any information from a child under 13 in violation of this policy, I will delete that information immediately. If you believe ProofPaleoWorks.com has any information from or about anyone under 13, please contact me.
